Both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are once weekly subcutaneous injections that you can inject at home or have this service provided in the office. These medications have been approved for weight loss and work through increasing insulin secretion, thereby increasing sugar metabolism. It also delays gastric emptying, which results in a reduced appetite. GLP-1s are clinically proven to reduce inflammation markers, leading to decreased inflammatory response. They also help curb cravings, make you feel full faster, and increase your energy expenditure. Clients desiring to utilize insurance, Medicare, etc., should be managed by their primary care provider. The Weights Over is a cash-based business and does not bill insurance; however, HSA is acceptable.
